Sunset Beach Club Tropea

We decided to go to Tropea (thanks Stanley Tucci for the Searching for Italy episode!) and wish we never had to leave. Food, town, beach, staff, room, location….far better than we imagined. The wait staff were amazing, kind, attentive, and top tier. Management was excellent and responsive. Cleaning staff was detailed and top-notch. Lifeguard and private beach…just beyond words as to how awesome the beach scene was. And of course…looking across the water at an active volcano (and visiting it) was beyond words. I truly wish I’d spent more than a week there, and I will absolutely go back and stay at the Sunset Beach Club. Book this place, you won’t regret it.

We went here for the day, the service and food is great! We got free Sangria and melon, there was a lifeguard present at all times and really attentive. Beach very clean and easily accessible Only negative: you can only book 2 beds, and when our friend had to cancel the trip we couldn't get a refund under no circumstances :( It's actually quite far from the city center but we liked the white umbrellas and "clean" design

Excellent Lido in Tropea. Friendly staff, appropriate room in between umbrellas. We also ate lunch at the restaurant. Very good cuisine. The price of the lido (chair and umbrella) and the restaurant was very reasonable and fair. The staff even brought out some fruit tasters in the afternoon. Public (paid) parking near by for convenience.

The food here was very good. The waiters were excellent, and the cleaning lady had the best smile!!. There were stones in the water making it a bit uncomfortable to swim. The girl at the reception was quiet strange.

Nice new beach bar and restaurant with accommodation. First beach row with nice views. It would be great if the staff at the bar would speak English and if the rooms would be ready on time and with working air conditioning. The rooms are brand new and very well designed. deserve 5* anyway.

We had a wonderful stay at the aparthotel. We stayed four nights. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and modern. The hotel provided a delicious a la carte breakfast—a great selection and very good products. The beach was just five steps from the room—sunbeds were provided. The service was wonderful—everyone was very helpful and friendly. A truly wonderful place. Thank You

Spent a day at the sunset beach club in Tropea. Rented some chairs and umbrella for 50€. Was a bit disappointed because the beach club next door rented them for 28€ but it is what it is. The reason we chose this place was the food. The lunch of clam linguini was exceptional. It’s hard to find good food along the beach. We actually came back at night for the aperitivo and dinner service. Great view on the terrace and we got some olive, chips, peanuts and a few other bites with our drinks. Ordered calamari for dinner and they were great. Unfortunately we couldn’t order the pizza as apparently they only served it in the dining room downstairs. Would come back, the service was great, thank you Agostino! The Spritz selection was also great.
